Damian Green

MP for Ashford and shadow Minister for Immigration

Welcome to Damian's constituency website.

Damian is delighted to have been re-elected, stating "Many thanks to the people of Ashford and Tenterden for such a resounding vote at the General Election. It is a real privilege to represent them, and to be asked to continue to do so. There are many challenges ahead both locally and nationally, and they need to be tackled as quickly as possible."

Commenting on his appointment as Minister of State for Immigration, Damian added: “Throughout the campaign my constituents, and people across the country, raised their concerns about immigration with me. In my new role at the Home Office I will work to make sure Britain benefits from immigration, but that it is properly controlled.”
